Dr. Aleesia Isom received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of North Texas Health Sciences Center and trained in her post-doctorate studies in pelvic health through the Herman Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has further post-graduate education in dry needling interventions, prolapse assessment and pessary fitting, manual therapy, prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation, and advanced education in return to exercise, sport and musculoskeletal disorders.

“My passion for pelvic health was initially piqued due to my own personal struggles with pelvic health issues. I discovered my passion to specialize in pelvic floor dysfunctions during my clinical rotations where I saw a great need for pelvic health therapists in the community.

I am motivated to provide exceptional pelvic physical therapy to all of my patients through patient centered care, one-on-one sessions, treating with evidence based interventions and striving to be a life long learner.

In my free time, I enjoy taking my two puppies (Boots and Sneakers) out for walks along the trail, traveling to new cities with friends, and running marathons around the world.”
